How to stop excessive sweating is all in controlling your mind which will in turn control your body. Start thinking positive thoughts instead of suffering from anticipation. If you worry less, you will also perspire less. Don’t allow your negative thoughts get control of your body. Just as your mind controls your body, the same goes with your sense of smell and taste. I have seen people perspire by simply looking at food! Food can be directly related to hyperhidrosis.

Perhaps you have already noticed that you perspire more when in contact with certain foods. Now that this seems to be an important factor, you must register what you eat and take note how your sweat glands react.

 

You should take particular attention when you feel you are sweating more than usual. The first thing you should ask yourself the minute you start sweating is "what did I eat?"

When answering this question, you will be surprised to discover that you have most probably eaten, or been in contact with, some kind of food that you did not know made you sweat. The advantage of taking note of these foods that make you perspire is that you can avoid them if you do not want to sweat as much.
