Bad Breath Home Remedies

Uncategorized No Comments »

Home remedies for bad breath are many.  Some are very good.  Some are, well… not very good.  And some are best forgotten about.

So let us just deal with the very good ones. And the best of these is the one that’s used the most.

And it is used most because it is designed to combat the most common cause of bad breath, which is simply poor [or nonexistent] oral hygiene.

Let’s say right this minute your teeth are scrupulously clean.  Within five minutes dental plaque will begin to build up on your teeth and the bacteria that live in your mouth will begin to colonize that plaque. These bacteria just love carbohydrates such as soft drinks, milk, cakes, candy and raisins and if you don’t clean your teeth and so remove these bacteria their population will explode.

Within seven to 14 days you who see inflammation of your gums, and within 14 and 21 days there will be obvious signs of a common disease of the gums: gingivitis.

In addition those bacteria will be destroying your tooth enamel, resulting eventually in tooth decay.

All these processes cause bad breath and when taken together, they produce chronic bad breath.

Obviously then, sound oral hygiene is the leading home remedy for bad breath.

Sound oral hygiene will result by following these steps:

•    Brush your teeth at least twice daily; preferably after each meal and before retiring
•    Use toothpaste that contains fluoride
•    Floss between your teeth at least once a day — preferably after each meal, in order to remove pieces of food
•    Speak to your dentist and obtain some of those mini-brushes that are used to clean the larger gaps between your teeth.

How [Do I] Cure Bad Breath?

How [Do I] Cure Bad Breath?

Bad breath is a continual problem for a surprisingly large segment of the population and can create embarrassing situations; not only socially, but professionally.

So, how do we cure bad breath?

I’d like just to look at the most usual cause of bad breath: the lack of effective oral hygiene.  To put it bluntly, most people just don’t brush their teeth often enough. They intend to—but they don’t often follow their good intentions

It is vital to realize that the buildup of plaque and bacteria is a continuous 24/7/365 process. It simply never stops. And if we don’t interrupt this process by effective cleansing of the teeth, we develop caries, gingivitis and intimately periodontitis.

Plaque build-up, teeth with cavities (caries), gingivitis and periodontitis are all capable of generating bad breath.

And we can stop all that occurring by simply brushing and flossing out teeth at least daily.

But it’s a much better idea to do that after every meal and again before going to bed. This will prevent the build-up of plaque getting to the stage where bad things start to happen.

It is important to use toothpaste that contains fluoride as this ensures a strengthening of the tooth enamel.

Another critical and often overlooked practice is to clean the larger spaces between the teeth with mini-brushes such as ‘Picksters’.

Homemade Colon Cleanse

Uncategorized No Comments »

For hundreds of years people have been making and using home colon cleansing kits because of the amazing health benefits. After a colon cleanse you will feel healthier, more energetic and much less tired. A good colon cleanse will affect your whole bodies health and can even help fight diseases and prevent you from getting sick. Colon cleansing is a perfectly natural and very safe procedure.

There are 4 basic types of homemade colon cleanse;

1. Fasting – fasting is the simplest form of homemade colon cleansing and as it suggests all you simply do is stop eating for a period of time. When you fast your liver starts working overtime to rid your body of toxins, so you need to be sure to drink plenty of fluids and keep yourself hydrated. But for most people the thought of going on a fast with no food whatsoever is too daunting, so a juice fast can be a much better option.

2. Juice fast – the best results from a juice fast will happen if you use fresh fruits and vegetables (preferably in season) and juice them yourself. The fresh fruit and vegetables have powerful enzymes that can assists in cleaning the colon by eliminating any toxins. The most common juices are from apples, carrots, celery, beets, citrus fruit and household vegetables.

3. Enema – an enema is the process of washing out the inside of the colon with sterile distilled water through a tube. For many people this process is quite daunting and unattractive, but once done it can have significant health benefits. Having said that, care does need to be taken and an enema should only be carried out by an experienced person.

4. Diet – this is by far the most common and popular method of colon cleansing. To properly cleanse yourself you need to have a diet rich in fibre and very low (preferably none) fat. The diet would consist of lots of fresh fruits and vegetable, with soups being a popular addition. To get the best benefits and to speed up the cleansing process, you can add herbs to your diet. The three best herbs are Haritaki, Bibhitaki, and Amalaki. Herbal detoxifiers are very safe and also relieve many other problems like irritable bowel syndrome. Two other additions to the diet can be psyllium husk and bentonite clay, which line the colon membrane and assist in breaking down toxins.

5. Homemade Cleansing Kits – you can purchase homemade colon cleansing kits that consist of most of the above tips. They will help to outline a diet for you, as well as providing many of the essential herbs needed. However we have found the kits to be very overpriced as they include a lot of materials and products that simply are not neccessary. After testing 4 of the leading brands we were very dissapointed with the contents of the kit and we were out of pocket by hundreds of dollars.

Please note that when you do a homemade colon cleanse your health may improve!

Say Bye to Bunions by Using a Bunions Treatment

Uncategorized No Comments »

Bunions can be a nuisance. These are irregular growths located at the joint in the bottom of the big toe.  This condition usually results in burning and pressure, which poor-fitting footwear can make worse. Still, inflammation in an area of the foot is actually the cause of the condition that requires bunions treatment.

One treatment method is the insole, available for shoes and work boots. Insoles correct how the ankle and foot are aligned. A special heel cushion reduces shock absorption and prevents fatigue.

Then there is the bunion splint. This type of splint treats the bump on your foot. It locks in your big toe, while foam massages the tender area. Making adjustments to these pads is a cinch.

Next, another method for treating bunions is to wear shoes that are wide and are made of stretchable materials, such as leather uppers. Furthermore, women should avoid wearing high-heeled shoes, as they could cause bunions.

You could also practice bunion exercises, to help in sustaining a flexible joint in your foot. While these exercises are effective, they cannot change the location of the toe after the bone has moved.

Bunions can be bothersome. However, you can use several bunions treatments to help say bye-bye to bunions!

Tons of Bunion Treatment Types

Uncategorized No Comments »

You probably have a bunion if you have a swelling or thickening around your big toe’s first joint. Here is what happens. The big toe gets pushed inward. In turn, the other toes become condensed. After the toe’s joint becomes inflamed, pain may result and you may be unable to wear regular shoes afterwards.

Although surgery is one bunion treatment option, it should be your last resort. The reason is that no guarantee exists that it will be successful. Surgery could also create other complications.

Fortunately, less major types of treatments for bunions exist. One is the bunion splint. The split secures your toe and helps to massage the soft section. To maximize protection of your foot, make adjustments to the pad.

You could also change your footwear. Both men and women should wear shoes that are wide, made of materials such as leather uppers. It is also advisable for women to avoid shoes with high heels.

There is also the bunion shield. Consider selecting the more versatile silicone-based shield, though you can reuse all gel-based shields.

If you have bunions, it is not the end of the world. These various bunion treatments can help to address the symptoms of the lumps, while helping to prevent future ones.

Bunion Splint and Natural Bunion Relief

Uncategorized No Comments »

If you think a bunion splint is the only thing that can give you bunion relief, think again. It’s not. There are natural remedies that can numb the pain and reduce your discomfort. Here are some of them.

Pineapples. Pineapples are tasty. But guess what? They can also reduce swelling! This is because pineapples contain a protein-dissolving enzyme called bromelain which stops or reduces swelling. So, go ahead, eat pineapples. Or, you can take a shortcut and try bromelain tablets instead.

Chamomile. Chamomile has long been used by early tribal groups to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, or help people relax. Well, believe it or not, you can use chamomile to take the pain and the inflammation away. You can either apply it to your bunion, using a tea bag, or drink chamomile tea.

Cayenne pepper. Simply cut off the ends of the pepper, and then rub the pepper onto your bunion. What this does is numb the pain by blocking the nerves that transmit pain impulses.

There are many more natural remedies that you can try, aside from bunion splint, to give yourself bunion relief. Try one or two some time and see how it works. Remember, though, that while they provide relief from the pain, they will not correct the problem.

How to Achieve Bunion Recovery

Uncategorized No Comments »

I once read an argument that we are not unhealthy until we have no pain. Apparently the bunions in our feet did not get the memo. Bunions result from swelling around the first joint of the big toe. The toe starts to bend inwards causing the other toes to compact.

Surgery is the most major treatment for bunions, and should be the last treatment option. It is possible for complications such as calluses and corns to pop up (ouch!). Also, there is no guarantee of a hundred percent bunion recovery.

The bunion pad is one less drastic option and involves a comfortable and soft foam pad. The pad protects the region near the ball of your foot, which is where bunions can exist.

There is also the bunion splint. It makes your big toe more pliable, allows your toes to spread out, and distributes pressure more evenly among all of your toes.

What should you do if your bunions get red, inflamed and painful? No, you should not call 9-11. But you can apply ice directly onto the painful joint. Simultaneously, elevate your foot onto a stool to help speed up bunion recovery.

Fortunately, several types of treatments exist for bunions. While surgery is arguably the most effective method, you can consider others beforehand.
